After a much-awaited voting session and various speculations related to Tulsi Gabbard and her capabilities for being the next DNI and her choosing to directly not reply when asked about Snowden, has been finally solved as Tulsi Gabbard becomes the next DNI of the USA under Trump administration. She is the first Hindu woman to hold such a position in the US administration.
Tulsi Gabbard won by a vote of 52-48 in the US Senate this Wednesday. Tulsi Gabbard being the DNI will be responsible for the administration of the whole US intelligence wing which is composed of a total of 18 agencies and will be responsible for presenting the day-to-day intelligence report to US president Donald Trump.
PM Narendra Modi met Tulsi Gabbard during his visit to India and congratulated her for her win and appointment as the next DNI. She being the first Hindu to be in such a powerful position has been a matter of pride for US Hindus and Hindus all over the world. Various nationals posted on their X handle congratulating her for her victory.
