PM Modi visits France on 10th February 2025 and the AI summit is to commence from 10th February to 11th February 2025. This summit is going to be the 3rd edition of the AI summit. The 1st and 2nd editions took place in the UK and South Korea respectively. AI would be of interest to all the countries taking part in the ongoing AI summit in France. This summit works on further advancement of AI and its ethical usage in technology and other crucial sectors. Global collaboration would be at its peak. This is a great opportunity for all the countries across the world including India and France to strengthen their diplomatic stances in the ongoing AI summit chaired by French PM Emmanuel Macron and co-chaired by Indian PM Narendra Modi.
PM Modi has scheduled several activities during his visit to France, not only to hold discussions on AI in France.
A visit to ITER: International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor. It aims to establish the scientific and technological viability of nuclear fusion energy by achieving a “burning plasma” state. This is a move towards generating clean nuclear energy and working towards a future with a clean Earth and environment. India is one of the members of the ITER in France. This visit can indicate India’s move towards an advancement in nuclear technology.

Trade and strategic partnership: PM Modi’s visit to France also indicates that the two PMs would have a brief discussion on better trade opportunities and economic growth other than strategic relationships and technological advancement.

Visit to Mazargues War Cemetery: Immanuel Macron and PM Modi are expected to visit Mazargues War Cemetery and pay tribute. Mazargues War Cemetery is one of the most famous War Cemetery in France predominantly the final resting place for many British soldiers who fought in World War 1 and especially the resting place for Indian soldiers who fought in World War 1.
After a successful visit to France, discussing a lot of issues and technological advancements, PM Modi is scheduled to Visit the USA on February 12-13, 2025. Speculations say PM Modi’s visit to the USA is going to decide the fate of various nations across the globe.
