China Breaks Ground on Largest Military City in History

China is one of the major game changers when it comes to infrastructure and development. Everything the US does, China always tries to be a step ahead of it.

Another military advancement of the Chinese defence is under construction. China is building the biggest military command centre near Beijing, “The Beijing Military City”, a  complete underground facility overlapping China’s existing military centre in the Western Hills complex built with assistance with USSR in the 1950s. As per reports, the Chinese military command centre is going to be 10 times bigger than the US military command centre ‘The Pentagon’. The Pentagon is said to be as bigger than 100 football grounds.

The construction is underway and is said to be carried on a 1500-acre land and is expected to survive nuclear attacks and other powerful weapons. The construction is speculated to have started in 2024, marking the area as supersensitive and completely blocked for civilian visits.
