Trump is on a visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to discuss matters related to the Russia-Ukraine war. Top American and Russian officials are scheduled to meet in Riyadh and as per reports Russia wants to stop the war. This significant move of Trump shows how Saudi Arabia is more diplomatically important to the USA than Europe.
Is Ukraine going to be present in Riyadh?
As known, the USA and Russia are in Riyadh for a meeting related to Ukraine but, as per news, the Ukrainian PM is not yet invited to join the meeting. Zelenskyy is not in Riyadh and no information is present regarding his visit to Saudi Arabia. Not only Ukraine but none of the countries from Europe have been called for the meeting.
On the other hand, Trump has suggested Europe maintain its security and that he will withdraw his troops from Europe, suggesting the European Union increase its annual security investments and look after its own security. Trump has also confirmed that the USA will not deploy US military forces into Ukraine and will not be responsible for Ukraine’s security, where UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer has assured Zelenskyy about providing UK soldiers in Ukraine but, does the UK have sufficient forces in their country? After the intense notification from Trump, French President Immanuel Macron

called for an emergency conference and the main moto of this conference is to discuss Ukraine’s security. UK PM Keir Starmer, German chancellor-Olaf Scholz, Polish PM Donald Tusk, NATO chief Mark Rutte, Italian PM Georgia Meloni and EU chief- Ursula Gertrud von der Leyen are members from Europe to visit France. The UK Prime Minister-Keir Starmer is going to act as mediator between Europe and the USA but, his dispute with Trump’s closest ally Elon Mask raises significant questions about his role and is also expected to transmit the decision of the emergency summit from France to the USA.
