Weeks after the Potomac River air crash between a passenger aircraft and a Hawk helicopter that was on a regular patrol, 64 passengers on the aircraft and 3 on the helicopter died in the USA. Another plane crash occurred in the Toronto airport in Canada landing upside down and the aircraft facing the sky. The Delta aircraft was travelling from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport arrived in Toronto. The Delta aircraft was carrying 80 passengers among which 17 passengers were injured and 3 of them in critical condition including a man in his 60s and a child.
The crash is expected to have been caused by bad weather conditions and winds gusting at a speed of 40 MPH, causing serious damage. Both the wings of the aircraft are said to be damaged particularly the right wing being completely damaged, reports say that the damaged right wing has helped the passengers get down the aircraft. The air crash raises serious questions about how bad weather will affect the upcoming flights. 2 runways of the Toronto Airport on which the Delta aircraft ended up crashing are being put on a block and no flight is operating from those 2 runways.
Emergency team rushed to the site but, 17 people were already injured, experts say- the plane landed upside down, this was a major a for people to be injured as passengers trying to remove their seatbelts ended up hurting their shoulders. Further investigations are being carried out by the officials.
