 Mid-Air Horror: US Passenger Jet and Military Helicopter Collide

A deadly collision took place over Washington DC between a passenger jet and military helicopter named Black hawk on 30th January, 2025.

The passenger flight was onboard with 60 passengers and 4 crew members, the Black hawk was carrying 3 military personnels and none of them are expected to be alive. While the Black Hawk was on a night time drill, the passenger jet was approaching to land at the Regal airport, runway number 33 and was clear for landing ,

the ATC ( Air Traffic Control) saw the helicopter approaching towards the passenger jet and asked it to pass behind the approaching passenger jet, unable to do so, both the aircrafts collided into the Potomac river causing a deadly air collision resulting to the death of 67 passengers.

Soon, the emergency control team were notified, they came into rescue. Despite the rescue team arriving and soon starting with the rescue mission with various drones and divers, the possibility of survivors was least in the ice-cold waters of the Potomac River in the month of January.

With the search operations still going on, so far 30 bodies of passengers have been found and 14 among them are expected to be ice skaters from the US and Russia.
